For over 40 years, Tatum’s trim shop has been family owned and operated in Abilene, Texas.
In 1979, the mother and son team of Phillip and Rose Tatum left their jobs at the Seat Cover Center on Butternut to start their own business. With a focus on quality work, dependability, and a commitment to satisfying every customer, they built one of the most reputable businesses in the Big Country. After humble beginnings in a backyard shop, Tatum’s Trim Shop moved to a new building at 3351 South 2nd in 1982, and would remain there for almost four decades. In 2015, Phillip’s son Lee joined the team, and is proud to carry on the family business. To this day, much has changed, but we are still committed to the providing the highest quality service to our customers. At Tatum’s Trim Shop, you can rest assured knowing that your vehicle will be in well experienced hands, and we take great pride in giving our customers the best service possible.
